On December 16th, 2010 - Barthe Cortes, owner of BVC airlines was arrested in Goma for four months for an offence against the dignity of the government (lese majeste ). Details of the arrest are unknown. Lese majeste arrests in Africa are rather rare. Usually the court gives other reason of arrest or; as it happens in countries of severe dictatorship, it does not give it at all.
